LIVING YOUR DREAMS...

a lot of my friends are talking about doing adventurous things, going to exotic places, doing fun things and encouraging their friends to do the same, to live the life they always dreamed of.

i am! i may not be in iceland or figi or snorkelling and swimming with dolphins, but i am living the life and adventure i dreamt of. living life with a wonderful, Godly, hard-working man and raising a child (and hopefully many more) that will love the Lord more than her parents. it may not look glamorous, but i wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING!

thank you Jesus for my life!!!

CAKE TRUFFLE GIVEAWAY for Emory! *Meet Emory*

Meet precious Emory.

This beautiful, precious boy is an orphan in Eastern Europe. No Mommy, no Daddy, just many "Nannies" in a crowded orphanage. He has down syndrome and anal atresia. He needs surgeries soon. Read his full bio here.

Has your child ever been sick? Have you ever been sick? Can you image going into surgery all alone, with no mommy or daddy or to nurse you back to heath when you got out?

This is Emory.

He needs a family. He needs a mommy to take care of him. To take him to the doctor and nurse him back to health. He needs to know the practical love of Jesus.

Will you consider donating $5 to Emory's adoption fund at Reeces Rainbow? Just a cup of Starbuck's coffee. The more money in Emory's fund, the more likely it will be for him to be adopted.

Emory is 3 years old. When he turns 4, he will likely be thrown into an institution, where he will be an "inmate" and hope will be lost for him.

This....is Emory.
Wouldn't you love to see a smile on this precious face?

We must help him!

This is where the cake truffles come in! My amazing sister in law, Jennie, at Jennie's Cake Creations, has generously donated a DOZEN delicious cake truffles to give away THIS THURSDAY to one lucky winner. They will be shipped to your house in a pretty package. You pick the flavor--everything from cookies and cream to key lime! Here is some of her work...winner gets 12 of these!!!!!

Aren't they adorable!?

There are TWO ways to enter:

1. Repost this on your blog, Facebook, or Twitter. Be sure to leave a comment or email me saying you did so. Each one is one entry!

and/or

2.Donate. For each $5 donated, you will receive one entry. So:

My email is lindsayhandrich@gmail.com

One lucky winner will be drawn from a hat Thursday evening. Let's spread the word for Emory's sake and donate, donate, donate!
